The Hand Pump for CE & CEC holds pressure on a syringe that is connected via tubing to your capillary. The turn screw keeps a constant pressure on a CEC capillary so that as you are conditioning it, a continual flow occurs without having to hold it. This is a very convenient item. Ceramic Cleaving Tiles are the standard for good cleaves while cutting bare fused silica capillaries. The Protective Sleeves for CE are PEEK tubing with the right ID for 365 OD capillaries and are “pinched” at the ends to prevent movement of the sleeves.
