Autosampler Consumables
Bill Ciccone, our President and CEO, serves as the manager and chairman of our Scientific Advisory Board. He coordinates projects and workload with our Technical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams. With many years of experience working alongside the members of this Board, Bill's extensive scientific expertise is largely derived from this collaborative group.
Bill earned his B.A. in Biological Sciences from Kean University in 1975. He began his career at ACE Scientific Supply Co. Inc. as a Technical Field Representative in New York City, managing key accounts such as Rockefeller University, Columbia P&S, New York Medical College, and Memorial Sloan Kettering. In 1980, he was promoted to Field Sales Manager and later to General Sales Manager, where he and his team developed a pioneering, comprehensive Chromatography catalog.
In 1988, Bill co-founded Scientific Resources, Inc. (SRi), a chromatography consumables company producing mainly autosampler vials, inserts and caps, where he served as President for 11 years. SRi pioneered various products for HPLC and Capillary Electrophoresis and launched the MicroSolvCE product line for Capillary Electrophoresis. In 1997, SRi spun off the MicroSolvCE product line into a separate business entity, renamed MicroSolv Technology Corporation. After SRi was sold to National Scientific, part of ThermoFisher, in 1999, Bill fully acquired MicroSolv, integrating numerous technologies for HPLC, including HPLC columns, autosampler vials, chromatography consumables, and Qualification products.
Today, MicroSolv's mission is to help advance scientific progress. The role of our scientific advisory board is to guide and ensure that we achieve this goal.
