Standard aluminum caps | Safety caps | Septa only

Crimp caps, also referred to as aluminum seals can offer the longest lasting, tight seal when properly applied and crimped onto a properly matching serum finish vial. If too much force is used, you can produce broken glass vials, cap dimples, folds in the septa material, aluminum wrinkles. With too little force you can product poor seals and lack of compression.

Aluminum caps are not magnetic.

All MicroSolv™ crimp caps are manufactured with high quality pre-inserted septa. We also offer open hole caps which require septa to be purchased separately and manually inserted. Soft-Guard™ caps are the most popular brand of caps due to the design of the septa durometer which is easy for needles to pierce causing less stress on the instruments and missed injections.
