Very unique phenyl performance | Great for peptides or polar compounds | RP or ANP methods.

This column is extremely durable due to our proprietary bonding technology that creates a direct silicon-carbon bond between the ligand and the particle, using a straight chain, 4 carbon linker with a terminal phenyl ring. The most stable, efficient non-end capped phenyl column on the market it can be transformed for use in reversed phase (RP), normal phase (ONP) or aqueous normal phase (ANP).

One of the most important values of Cogent Phenyl Hydride™ columns is their unique selectivity for compounds that contain aromatic rings. Popular choice of labs working with small peptides, sulfonyl, azide and other aromatic compounds.

Chromatographers also like the quick precision from run to run even when using a gradient method. Theyre also, favored for use with LCMS as theres no end-capping to bleed into your MS as occurs with most other phenyl columns.

NOTE: Our technical support team strongly recommends that the Cogent column filter, included with each column, be used with all HPLC columns whenever possible. Click HERE for details.
