Filtration & MicroBiological Products

Dr. Raghvendra Sahai plays a pivotal role in our scientific group, advising, directing, and consulting with our technical teams on filtration and microbiological technologies. He supports product development, quality systems, and provides technical support to customers with filtration-related questions or issues.

Dr. Sahai earned his B.S. degree in 1974 and his M.S. degree in 1976 from Meerut University in India. He then completed his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry at the Central Drug Research Institute in Lucknow, India, in 1980, focusing on isolating and characterizing novel medicinal natural products. He began his career as a Research Scientist at Hoechst Pharmaceuticals Ltd in Bombay, India, developing anticancer antibiotics.

In 1983, Dr. Sahai moved to the USA as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Waksman Institute of Microbiology, working on nitrogen fixation compounds. He later researched flu virus mutations at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He then joined a small company in Metuchen, NJ, developing FDA-approved testing kits for reference laboratories. In 1995, he co-founded EuTech Scientific Services Inc., a GMP CRO supporting pharmaceutical and medical device companies. EuTech acquired Complete Analysis Laboratories in 2015 and was later acquired by Analytical Resources Laboratory of Tentamus Group in 2021, becoming ARL-EuTech Scientific Services.

In 2004, Dr. Sahai founded Edison Scientific, a company specializing in scientific consumables, including filtration products. The assets of Edison were acquired by MicroSolv in 2024 we he now serves on our Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Sahai also volunteers as a mentor for undergraduates in the non-profit program America Needs You (ANY).
