These high purity silicone rubber / PTFE septa are 3.16 mm (+/- 0.01 mm) thick, with a durometer of 45 Shore A, (hardness) and have 3.0 mil (0.0762 mm) thick "cast" PTFE liners. The ultra low bleed rubber that is made with a proprietary process for ultra durability, purity and low extractables.
Excellent choice for highly sensitive analyses for purity. The lower than standard durometer means that these are softer septa and therefore easier for penetrations by autosampler needles and have a
wide useful temperature range of -60⁰ to 200⁰C.
