These Economical 316L stainless steel filters are designed for use with 1/16-inch tubing and feature PEEK tubing connectors. They are manufactured to provide high filtering capacity and excellent mobile phase solvent throughput. Passivated with a 30% nitric acid solution, the 10 µm porosity effectively filters out larger, undissolved particles from your mobile phases or solvents, preventing them from entering your HPLC pumps, columns, and instruments, thereby reducing potential damage.
Simple to install:
Insert the tubing into the hole at the top of the filter and tighten it by hand.
Place the assembled filter at the bottom of your mobile phase reservoir bottle.
Connect the tubing to the inlet of your HPLC pump.
Included with each Mobile Phase Solvent Filter is one ETFE ferrule and one low pressure male nut connector for use with 1/16th inch (1.6 mm) OD tubing. Tubing sold separately. For sparging, you can also connect the filter to a low-pressure helium or nitrogen line.
