Our EPP-Porous Products™ brand of stainless steel and titanium frits / filter discs are manufactured to the highest possible precision with the finest raw materials available. All of our frits are made with an automated sintering furnace. This state-of-the-art final step of frit manufacturing assures a controlled atmosphere and therefore maintains a higher purity of the frit metals making them superior for chromatography and sample prep. Also, the controlled heating minimizes "rouging" or discoloration and prevents oxidation including internally, provides a more uniform sintering and results in stronger parts.
The frits can be used in Cogent™, ARE-Applied Research™ or any brand of HPLC columns on the market. Material and QC inspection reports can be obtained upon request.
