for the separations laboratory that investigates low abundance analytes or samples
that are pH sensitive, basic in nature or when using mass spectrometers. Chosen
when coatings or silanization is not sufficient or counter indicated for good results
with LCMS, GCMS or UHPLC.

- How does RSA™ glass work…
RSA™ glass has reduced surface activity due to the elimination of the layer of silicate
that results when autosampler vials are normally manufactured. Many of the surface
metals that could contaminate your analysis and have detrimental effects on your
data precision are also virtually eliminated due to our patent pending process.
- What does RSA™ glass do…
When using all other borosilicate glass autosampler vials & inserts commercially
available, sample diluents (such as water) can de-protonate the many hydroxyl groups
on the wall of your vial which produces a negative charge on the glass. The “acidic”
functionality of these silanols has been known to cause adsorption of basic compounds,
change the pH of the sample solution and/or hydrolyze some susceptible compounds
making them undetectable. The surface metals in your current vial contaminates and
can cause precipitation, chelation or other changes in your samples while in the
vial. Don’t let sample prep continue in your vials.

is virtually no…
basic compound “adsoprtion to the vial”, no “pH shifting of your sample diluent”
or other problems from the reactivity of the vial surface thus making your analysis
more reliable, lot-to-lot, run-to-run and day-to-day. This is an excellent feature
for low dosage form pharmaceuticals

for adsorption, pH stability and metal counts as well as standard fit and form specs
using LCMS, pH and Ion selective electrodes. Certificates of Conformance to these
QC tests are available. Lot support for investigations are available as well.
