This 15x Magnifier is often used to Inspect CE or CEC Capillaries for air bubbles or cracks in the Fused Silica that can cause poor Data or loss of Current.
The working distance is 0.5" and the unit is only 1.375" H x 0.75" W at the base with a 0.5" Field of View
The transparent Base allows light in so lamps may not be necessary but when using a light box, you can see directly into the Capillaries.
