HPLC Column, RP C4 Butyl, 3um, 2.1mm ID x 50mm Length, 100A. Cogent Brand. 1 EA.
Additional Info:
This Cogent RP C4™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. It is double end capped (fully), with traditional bonding of a 4 (butyl) carbon ligand to the highest purity silica available, making this column ideal as an Alternate in USP Methods that use the L26 Classification.
With a 3µm Particle, this column is more efficient than a 5um column of the same phase and you will experience sharper peaks. However, due to the smaller particle size, there is an increased back pressure. Used for very hydrophobic or neutral compounds in Reversed Phase, this Butyl Phase is excellent for short analyses of small molecules. Expect Less retention than with a C8 column.
A very popular column size, this short and narrow-bore column provides short run times but requires a pump that can precisely deliver, and a flow cell that is made for reduced flow rates with lower volumes. This column size is excellent, and a favorite for LCMS.
