These silicone rubber / PTFE septa are 3.05 mm (+/- 0.01 mm) thick and with a durometer of 45 Shore A, (hardness) and a 5.0 mil (0.127 mm) thick with ultra clean "skived" PTFE liner. The ultra low bleed rubber is made by a proprietary process for ultra high purity, low extractables and temperature durability.
These septa are good for highly sensitive analyses to extractables. No color has been added. The lower than standard durometer measurement means that they are softer septa and therefore easier for penetrations by most autosampler needles and have a wide temperature range of -60⁰ to 200⁰C.
